Policy Analyst

Main Responsibilities

Research, Analysis and Drafting

• Conduct and lead research and analysis on key budgeting and public management issues, including country-specific policy challenges and reform initiatives.
• Assist in supervising  the development of international good practice guidelines and comparative indicators.
• Contribute to OECD thematic studies and country reviews, including the formulation of policy assessments and recommendations.
• Provide support to countries to advance implementation of OECD recommendations and national reform initiatives.
• Deliver clear, concise contributions to reports for consideration by OECD committees as well as policy briefs and other communications aimed at policymakers and wider audiences

Liaison, Dissemination and Representation

• Develop and maintain working relations with senior officials in national administrations and international organisations, as well as colleagues across the OECD. 
• Actively engage in the dissemination of policy recommendations through a variety of channels and supports, targeting the audiences that will promote maximum impact.
• Prepare and deliver relevant and timely presentations at conferences and other events.
• Participate in missions to member and partner countries as required. 
• Keep abreast of policy issues and general developments in the area of public governance.
