We’re expanding our creative capabilities and seeking a talented Video Editor to join our Santo Domingo team.
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor who can produce high-quality video content for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other digital channels. This role focuses primarily on creating short-form ad creatives, as well as supporting branding content, website videos, internal presentations, and company-related materials. The ideal candidate is fluent in modern video styles, familiar with high-performing ad formats, and comfortable using AI-powered video tools such as Google Veo. They should be able to iterate quickly, analyze content performance, and refine creatives to improve results.
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form video ads for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
- Produce brand videos for the website, client testimonials, recruiting content, and internal/company meeting videos
- Create motion graphics, overlays, and visual enhancements to improve storytelling and engagement
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams on scripts, storyboards, and visual concepts
- Develop multiple versions of video ads and iterate based on performance data
- Work with performance marketing teams to understand metrics such as hook rate, CTR, conversion rate, and retention
- Analyze high-performing videos in the industry and apply insights to new creative concepts
- Use AI-powered video tools such as Google Veo or similar
- Assist in developing AI-driven workflows for speed and efficiency
- Manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and adapt quickly to feedback
- Maintain well-organized project files, versions, and asset libraries
- Communicate proactively with teammates to ensure smooth production and consistent quality
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in both Spanish and English (spoken and written)
- 1-3 years of professional video editing experience
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent tools
- Experience developing content specifically for digital ads
- Understanding of best practices for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
- Familiarity with metrics such as hook rate, CTR, and conversion rate
- Experience using AI video creation tools such as Google Veo, Runway, Pika, ElevenLabs or similar
- Strong digital portfolio showing ad creatives, short-form content, and storytelling ability
- Ability to iterate quickly and incorporate feedback
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CapCut or other online editing tools
- Experience working at an advertising agency or performance marketing company
- Experience testing and optimizing ads based on data insights
- Knowledge of color grading, sound design, and advanced motion graphics
- Experience collaborating with marketing teams and creative strategists
