About the Role
This role will ensure quality, proper storage, and dormancy-breaking of potato seeds, managing inventory, coordinating with teams, supervising staff, and preparing seeds for planting, distribution with accurate organisation, and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the proper storage conditions (temperature, humidity, ventilation, etc.) for potato seed tubers
- Implement protocols for seed handling, sorting, and grading
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Conducting regular stock audits, periodic physical counts, and reconciling inventory records
- Recruit and train casual or temporary staff for seed handling, packaging, and distribution

Qualifications
Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:
- 1+ years of Experience and working knowledge of Inventory management, stock control, and potato seed store
- 1+ year of experience with assessing post-harvest quality of seeds, especially potato seeds, will be an advantage
- Degree (A0/A1) in agronomy, crop production, agriculture, supply chain management, or any other field
- Deep technical knowledge and understanding of potato diseases and pests in the store
- Coordination skills and basic data management using a spreadsheet
