Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator with deep expertise in Microsoft technologies and solid experience in Service Desk operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing the organization’s Microsoft infrastructure, Azure environment, and Microsoft 365 services, while ensuring smooth user support and system reliability.
Key Responsibilities
1. General Systems Administration
- Monitor system health, performance, and resource utilization.
- Perform routine maintenance, patching, and system backups.
- Remediate identified vulnerabilities to maintain compliance and security standards.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for configurations, incidents, and recovery procedures.
2. User Management & Access Control
- Manage user account provisioning and deprovisioning.
- Control and audit user roles, permissions, and group memberships.
- Implement and review Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) policies.
3. Azure Administration
- Manage and support Azure resources and hybrid Azure AD environments.
- Configure and maintain Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and security policies.
- Ensure compliance with Azure governance frameworks and Identity & Access Management (IAM) best practices.
4. Microsoft 365 Administration
- Administer and maintain Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Defender.
- Manage tenant configurations, user identities, roles, and access policies through Microsoft Entra ID.
- Implement and manage compliance, retention, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies.
- Troubleshoot mail flow issues and provide support for Power Platform tools.
5. Service Desk Support
- Provide second-level technical support for Microsoft-related incidents and requests.
- Collaborate with the Service Desk team to resolve escalated tickets efficiently.
- Document solutions and contribute to the IT knowledge base to enhance first-line support capabilities.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in system administration, with strong focus on Microsoft technologies.
- Proven experience supporting Service Desk environments and end-user IT operations.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory (on-prem and cloud).
- Strong understanding of security, compliance, and access control frameworks.
