Business Development Representative - New Frontiers (f/m/d)
Start date: January 2026
Yearly Salary: €60,000 - €65,000 (fixed range, annual gross)
Equity: €10,000 - €30,000 in company shares
Benefits: up to €5,000 annually
Work Model: Full-time, hybrid (based in Munich)
Travel: Some travel potentially required
Your role
As a Business Development Representative - New Frontiers, you will be a key driver of Orbem’s commercial success, specializing in the crucial early stages of the sales process. Your primary focus will be on building a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities by sourcing and nurturing new leads. You will own the initial stages of the sales cycle, from prospecting to preparing negotiations and closing, playing a pivotal role in our growth.
Your day-to-day
You will be focusing on the following areas:
Pipeline Development & Sourcing:
Proactively identify and qualify new leads through outbound prospecting, industry networking, and strategic follow-ups.
Build and manage a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent and predictable revenue growth.
Develop and execute strategies for penetrating key target markets and customer segments.
Opportunity Qualification & Preparation:
Qualify inbound and outbound leads to determine their potential and fit with Orbem's solutions.
Work with potential clients to understand their needs and demonstrate the value of Orbem's technology through initial presentations and information sharing.
Prepare detailed opportunity handovers for senior sales staff, including client background, needs analysis, and preliminary proposals.
Consistently meet and exceed targets for qualified lead generation and pipeline development.
Customer Relationship Management:
Establish and nurture strong initial relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers, building trust and positioning Orbem as a valuable partner.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the initial qualification and discovery phase.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with our imaging and product teams to articulate customer needs, provide market feedback, and ensure our solutions are aligned with client expectations.
Industry Presence:
Represent Orbem at industry events, conferences, and trade shows with the clear objective of generating qualified leads and building your network.
