Venture Development Intern - New Frontiers (f/m/d)
Start date: January 2026
Monthly Salary: €2,250/month for Interns (40h/week)
Work Model: Full-time, hybrid (based in Munich); preferably in Munich.
Travel: Some travel potentially required
Your role
As a Venture Development Intern, you will play an important role in supporting Orbem’s commercial success. You will work closely with our New Frontiers Venture Development team on a wide range of tasks, from identifying new market opportunities and generating leads to driving our go-to-market strategy and preparing materials for commercial negotiations. This is a hands-on role where you will gain valuable experience across the full Venture Development cycle.
Your day-to-day
You will be focussing on the following areas:
Strategic Market Analysis:
Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify new trends, potential clients, and strategic opportunities.
Assess new market opportunities by identifying and qualifying new leads through research, outbound prospecting, and industry event preparation.
Sales Process Support:
Prepare materials for client presentations, product demonstrations, and sales pitches.
Support in preparing documentation, background analysis, and briefing materials for senior team members ahead of commercial negotiations.
Help maintain and organize our CRM system to ensure data is accurate and up-to-date.
Customer Relationship Management:
Support the initial stages of relationship building by assisting with communications and follow-ups with potential customers.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work with our imaging and product teams to help articulate customer needs and gather market feedback.
Industry Presence:
Represent Orbem at industry events, conferences, and trade shows with the clear objective of generating qualified leads and building your network.
