Catalog Conflict Resolution Associate
Job Overview
The Catalogue Conflict Resolution Associate is responsible for identifying and resolving asset conflicts for publishers on YouTube. This role involves verifying asset ownership, managing conflicts within YouTube's Content Management System (CMS), and collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Job Responsibilities
● Identify and review assets in conflict for publishers, working towards resolution.
● Use asset verification techniques to research and confirm composition ownership.
● Document all actions taken manually via AppSheets.
● Perform conflict resolution tasks within YouTube’s CMS, including ownership share removals or adjustments.
● Escalate conflicts to higher authorities when necessary.
● Analyze data to identify prominent bad actors on YouTube and communicate findings to leadership.
● Proactively share ideas, insights, and issues with the Team Lead.
● Conduct research on major Catalogue acquisitions in preparation for ownership transfers to clients.
● Perform additional ad-hoc tasks as required to contribute to the department’s success.
Requirements
Qualifications
● Diploma or a partially completed HND, or an equivalent qualification.
● Ability to verify assets and research composition ownership.
● Strong time management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
● Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
● Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
● Adaptability to changing needs of the company, clients, and team members.
● Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
● Experience in data analysis and conflict resolution.
● Knowledge of asset management practices in digital content platforms.
