Senior Backend Software Engineer

Join Orfium as a Senior Backend Software Engineer and become a vital part of our innovative engineering team! In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend architecture that supports our music and entertainment solutions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement high-performance systems and mentor junior developers, all while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable and reliable backend systems for our platform.
• Collaborate with front-end engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality software.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with a focus on quality and performance.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to foster a culture of learning.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues in existing applications and systems.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in backend development.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of software development experience with a modern programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java).
• Strong experience with backend frameworks (e.g., Django, FastAPI, Spring).
• Proficiency in database design and optimization, particularly using PostgreSQL.
• Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS or GCP.
• Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work within a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and design patterns.
• Passion for music and the entertainment industry.
