Pricing & Proposals Manager

Our Future Health is building the UK’s largest health research programme, transforming the way we prevent, detect and treat disease. As we scale our recontact services for commercial and academic partners, we’re looking for a Pricing & Proposals Manager to shape high-impact commercial proposals, lead pricing strategy, and drive RFP responses for participant recontact studies. Owning the end-to-end development of pricing submissions, commercial terms and proposal documentation, you’ll bring deep expertise in pricing and deal structuring, ideally from a CRO, clinical operations consultancy, or similar environment, ensuring our offers are competitive, clear and commercially robust.

Despite big improvements in healthcare in our lifetimes, today millions of people in the UK still live in poor health as they get older. Diseases like cancer, dementia, diabetes, and heart disease affect the lives of many people in our communities. Our goal is to create a world-leading resource for health research, to improve our understanding and spot the patterns of how and why common diseases start, so treatments can begin sooner and be more effective.  

What you’ll be doing:

In this role you will drive commercial excellence by designing commercially viable, scalable, and customer-responsive pricing models that enable recontact revenue growth while protecting the integrity and mission of Our Future Health. Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Pricing Strategy & Commercial Structuring

• Develop and own the pricing framework for recontact services, creating clear, customer-aligned commercial proposals.
• Lead pricing negotiations with the Commercial Director and maintain tools, models, and calculators for fast, accurate proposal generation.

RFP & Proposal Management

• Act as the commercial lead for RFPs, RFIs, and inbound requests, translating customer requirements into compelling, well-rationalised proposals.
• Maintain proposal templates and track pipeline activity to support consistent, reliable forecasting.

Market & Access Insight

• Monitor market benchmarks to position Our Future Health competitively.
• Advise on access strategies across pharma, biotech, MedTech, and academic customers.

Stakeholder Engagement & Governance

• Work with Product, Access, Legal, and Finance to ensure accurate costing and feasibility.
• Support revenue forecasting and ensure all proposals meet compliance and ethical standards.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will be commercially astute, analytical and strategically minded, you can translate complex requirements into clear, accurate pricing frameworks and compelling proposals. You’re proactive, customer-focused and able to influence stakeholders through a consultative approach. Detail-driven and rigorous, you ensure strong governance and sound assumptions, while thriving in a collaborative, matrix environment. Adaptable, resilient, and purpose-led, you’re motivated by Our Future Health’s mission and committed to ethical participant engagement.

You will also have some of the following skills:

• Proven track record in pricing, proposal development or commercial access within a CRO, life sciences consultancy, or clinical research environment.
• Strong experience developing tailored responses to complex RFPs/RFIs with clear commercial accountability.
• Experience structuring deals involving participant recruitment, data services or participant engagement.
• Knowledge of UK health research governance, GDPR and participant consent frameworks is advantageous.
