Job Overview
Outsourcing Advantage is seeking a Food Safety Auditor and Consultant to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will serve as the primary liaison between Food producers and our client. In this role, you will manage client communications, coordinate project milestones, and support the implementation of safety compliance programs. You will also ensure timely updates, facilitate training sessions, and assist clients with audit preparation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about building strong client relationships while driving service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Conduct food safety assessments for various facilities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement food safety plans, policies, and training programs for clients.
- Provide guidance to clients on food handling, storage, and preparation practices to minimize food safety risks.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging food safety technologies.
- Assist in the development and delivery of food safety training sessions and workshops.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, training sessions, and compliance efforts.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. at least at a level of C1 Advanced
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Public Health, or a related field.
- Prior experience in account management, client services, or project coordination (preferably in food safety compliance, FSMA, SQF, or BRCGS).
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, team members, and management.
- Inspection and observation skills to monitor compliance with food safety and quality protocols.
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Relevant certifications in food safety, FSMA, HACCP, or related areas are strongly preferred.
