As a Legal Director, you will lead a high-performing team of legal experts across diverse legal domains. Operating at a global scale, you will navigate complex challenges while directly contributing to the evolution of industry standards and regulations. Your day-to-day:
- Lead the company’s Legal team, providing strategic representation on all legal and compliance matters, including corporate, contractual, commercial, employment, litigation and regulatory affairs
- Develop and execute the legal strategy to proactively enable business growth and protect the organisation’s interests
- Oversee the delivery of legal services and resources to accomplish the company's goals, strategies and priorities
- Advise on, mitigate, and track legal risk across the business
- Implement procedures and policies to ensure compliance with all relevant (local and international) laws and regulations applicable to operations in all jurisdictions
- Counsel senior decision makers on good governance and effective management of legal and compliance risks
- Collaborate closely with Product, Risk, Communications, Finance, HR and other teams to build integrated, scalable business processes
- Manage and optimise relationships with outside counsel to ensure cost-effective and high-quality global representation
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of legal developments in big data, AI, privacy, and the broader technology sector
Your skills & experience:
- A Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M)
- Proven experience in managing company’s in-house legal department or being responsible for a legal “desk” in mid to large sized law firm
- At least 10 years of experience as in-house counsel or in a law firm with knowledge of a broad range of legal fields (commercial/IP/IT fields)
- Experience in a tech-native company with an understanding of SaaS, IT infrastructure, and digital business models or having worked with such clients in a law firm
- Proven ability to work as a strategic partner to the company’s top management and Board
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Ability to come up with and achieve your own goals in a highly uncertain environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Confidence to stand by decisions and push the right agenda for the business, whilst mitigating risks at all times
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills in Lithuanian and English

Salary:
- Gross salary: starting from 7000 EUR/month.
