TIG Welder (Experienced)

Our client, a leading manufacturer of high-quality stainless steel products based in County Mayo, is currently seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join their fabrication team. Specializing in stainless steel solutions for the pharmaceutical, medical device, and food industries, our client prides themselves on delivering precision-engineered products of the highest standard. This role is ideal for a highly skilled welder with a strong attention to detail and a proven background in high-spec fabrication environments.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Perform high-quality TIG welding on a range of metals including stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum.

• Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings and specifications.

• Prepare materials and weld joints accurately to achieve clean, precise welds.

• Assemble, weld, and finish fabricated components and structures to required standards.

• Carry out pre-weld preparation and post-weld finishing, including grinding, polishing, and inspection.

• Conduct thorough visual inspections of completed welds, identifying and correcting any defects.

• Ensure all welding work meets specified tolerances and quality requirements.

• Maintain welding tools and equipment, ensuring they are kept in safe and optimal working condition.

• Adhere to health and safety procedures, promoting a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
