Role: Financial Accountant - 6-month Fixed Term

Location: Melbourne - Hybrid with 3 days in office

With a global footprint spanning 195 countries, approximately 100,000 companies, and 140 million end users (equivalent to about 1 in 50 people globally), we are now moving forward into the cloud, SaaS, and beyond print.

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract to assist us through a busy period, where we look at process improvements, automations and year-end close.

What you'll actually do:

• Review Transactional accounting work, ensure data quality and of high accuracy.

• Prepare and collate the monthly reconciliations of allocated balance sheet accounts for all entities in the group.

• Work with the broader finance team for the month-end and year-end close.

• Working with external consultants on the VAT preparation, review and lodgment with the UK HMRC.

• Assist the team in preparing for and working through the yearly audit process.

What you bring to the table:

• You have a solid understanding of financial accounting principles.

• You're a CA/CPA qualified professional with experience in tax accounting.

• You have experience in preparing month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close.

• You have strong MS Excel experience, including VLOOKUP, DataLookups and PivotTables.

• You can work within a cross-functional, global team and have some flexibility in hours.
