Position Overview

PBExpo is seeking a commercially driven Account Manager to own and grow event revenue through exhibitor, sponsorship, and attendee sales. This individual will manage and expand existing client relationships while actively driving new business acquisition across the aviation and aerospace industry.

This is a full-cycle sales role responsible for renewals, upselling, retention, and net-new business development. The ideal candidate is experienced in event, sponsorship, or trade show sales and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of PBExpo exhibitor and sponsor accounts.

  • Drive year-over-year renewal, retention, and upsell revenue.

  • Prospect, develop, and close new exhibitor and sponsorship opportunities.

  • Sell booth space, exhibitor packages, sponsorship packages, and attendee tickets.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with executives, marketing leaders, trade show managers, and key decision-makers.

  • Conduct account planning meetings and post-show business reviews with clients.

  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, account activity, forecasting, and reporting within CRM systems.

  • Collaborate closely with the PBExpo Events team to ensure a successful exhibitor and sponsor experience.

  • Quickly step into a leadership capacity and oversee a team of Account Executives as the business scales.

Qualifications

Required

  • 4–7 years of experience in:

  • Event sales

  • Trade show sales

  • Sponsorship sales

  • B2B account management

  • 2+ years of leadership or team management experience.

  • Demonstrated success achieving and exceeding revenue targets.

  • Experience managing both existing account renewals and net-new business development.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.

Preferred

  • Experience selling within a niche B2B trade show or conference environment.

  • Familiarity with the aviation, aerospace, or defense industry is a plus.
