Fitter/Welder (Dripping Springs)

About the Role:

As a Fitter/Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in our operations, assembling and fitting structural, plate, and mechanical materials into various assemblies. You’ll work closely with the Shop Superintendent and other team members to ensure high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and Fit: Work with structural forms like frames, bridge parts, beams, and columns.
• Blueprint Mastery: Read and interpret blueprints to plan fitting operations.
• Precision Work: Use your fitter skills to layout and fit detail parts accurately.
• Quality Assurance: Verify the accuracy of fit-ups before inspection.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Extensive experience in fitting and fabricating is essential.
• Education: High school diploma or GED, plus 12 months of training or equivalent experience.
• Skills: Proficiency in reading shop drawings, high motivation, and the ability to work independently.
• Certifications: Current welding and OSHA certifications are required.
