This role
The Ecommerce Strategy & Ops Manager  is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the direct-to-consumer ecommerce channel. This role leads business intelligence initiatives to track performance metrics across the customer journey, drives operational efficiencies in customer experience and fulfillment processes, supports assortment, pricing, and promo decisions and ensures optimal inventory management.

This role

The Ecommerce Strategy & Ops Manager  is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the direct-to-consumer ecommerce channel. This role leads business intelligence initiatives to track performance metrics across the customer journey, drives operational efficiencies in customer experience and fulfillment processes, supports assortment, pricing, and promo decisions and ensures optimal inventory management.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data to identify internal and external growth opportunities for ecommerce, focusing on both volume and profitability.
  • Manage reporting analysts in creating dashboards to track and measure ecommerce performance.
  • Analyze internal processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement automations—including AI tools—to improve efficiency.
  • Drive decisions regarding the design and functionality of the 1P Ecommerce storefront, including prioritizing projects with external agencies.
  • Design and test pricing and promotion strategies based on automated competitor analysis, margin management, and price elasticity testing across different product price points.
  • Lead collaborative efforts between the ecommerce team and other key internal stakeholders (e.g., Product, Risk) to articulate ecommerce initiative needs, prioritize requests, and support execution.
  • Own the design and execution of CRM campaigns focused on 1P Ecommerce, including experimentation and optimization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or studying in a field related to data analysis.
  • 3+ years of experience working as a professional in analytics and optimization.
  • Analytical skills with a data-driven approach - is able to quantitatively diagnose root causes and use data to formulate recommendations.
  • Highly organized - can manage multiple workstreams with a variety of stakeholders simultaneously. 
  • Communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL. Experience with BI platforms. Good knowledge of social media, ads and analytic platforms, and statistical methods (A/B Testing).
  • Self-driven and results-driven, willing to work in a dynamic, high-change environment.
