Job Overview

The Opportunity

We are expanding our technical team in Saudi Arabia to focus on the non-processing aspects of the energy sector. While traditional refinery and processing operations are handled by our specialized affiliates, this role is dedicated to the critical infrastructure and "beyond-the-fence" systems that enable modern energy solutions.

We are looking for a strategic Engineer who can navigate the complexities of traditional oil and gas infrastructure while championing the integration of Carbon Capture and Sustainable Fuels.

What you'll do

  • Non-Processing Infrastructure: Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of auxiliary systems, including storage terminals, pipeline networks, and utility integration.
  • Carbon Management: Provide technical oversight for Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) projects, focusing on transport logistics, injection infrastructure, and long-term storage monitoring.
  • Alternative Fuel Integration: Manage technical workflows for Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), including blending facilities, feedstock logistics, and distribution infrastructure.
  • Project Lifecycle Oversight: Lead feasibility studies, FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) reviews, and onsite technical coordination for large-scale energy transition projects.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as a technical subject matter expert for local regulatory bodies and major regional energy players.

Qualifications

  • We are seeking high-caliber talent from any nationality with a deep understanding of the Saudi Arabian energy landscape.
  • Regional Expertise: Extensive and "exceptional" experience working on projects for major national energy producers in Saudi Arabia. Deep familiarity with local engineering standards and rigorous safety protocols is mandatory.
  • Specialized Knowledge: * Practical experience in CCS (capture technologies and sequestration infrastructure).
    • Knowledge of SAF pathways, handling, and industry certifications.
  • Engineering Background: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering (or a related discipline).
  • Adaptability: Proven ability to manage "non-processing" infrastructure that supports the wider energy ecosystem.

What We Offer

  • The opportunity to work on "Giga-project" scale infrastructure within the Kingdom.
  • A pivotal role in the region's energy transition and decarbonization roadmap.
  • A collaborative environment that values technical excellence and innovative problem-solving.
