Electrical Draftman

The Opportunity

• We're looking for a highly capable, electrical draftman. This role is open to all nationalities (UAE / Gulf experience preferred).

What you'll do

• Prepare accurate electrical shop drawings, layouts, single-line diagrams (SLD), and as-built drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Perform MEP coordination with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, structural, and interior design drawings to eliminate clashes.
• Create and update Reflected Ceiling Plans (RCP) with lighting fixtures, outlets, and coordination details.
• Develop wall coordination drawings showing electrical outlets, switches, conduits, trunking, and cable trays.
• Prepare and maintain load schedules, panel schedules, and cable schedules.
• Ensure all drawings comply with DEWA regulations, UAE standards, and project specifications.
• Revise drawings based on consultant comments, site conditions, RFIs, and authority feedback.
• Support electrical engineering team in preparing material submittals and shop drawing packages.
• Maintain organized drawing registers, version control, and document control processes.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of drafting experience in MEP projects (villa, residential, low-rise & mid-rise buildings preferred).
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP (mandatory).
• Good understanding of DEWA standards, UAE building codes, and electrical design principles.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Knowledge of load calculation basics and panel scheduling.
• Detail-oriented with strong coordination and time-management skills.
• Good English communication (Arabic is a plus).
