Senior MEP Engineer

The Opportunity

• We're looking for a highly capable, hands-on Senior MEP Engineer. This role is open to all nationalities (UAE / Gulf experience preferred).

What you'll do

• Manage construction, installation & supervision of all mechanical systems 
• Perform detailed engineering calculations & provide technical expertise 
• Prepare & review Material Submittals ensuring compliance with specifications & consultant/client requirements 
• Review & confirm Shop Drawings ensuring design intent, specification compliance & authority regulations 
• Review design drawings, verify applicability & ensure coordination with architectural, structural, electrical, ID drawings 
• Ensure full compliance with project specifications, codes & standards 
• Apply expert knowledge across:
  • Chilled Water Systems (Airside & CHW side)
  • Plumbing & Drainage Systems
  • Domestic Water Supply Systems
  • Central Hot Water Systems & Filtration
  • Firefighting Systems
  • BMS & Systems Control Integration 
• Troubleshoot & resolve system-related issues effectively 
• Oversee testing, commissioning & operation of mechanical & control systems 
• Identify critical areas, review design & initiate RFIs to resolve gaps/conflicts early 
• Provide commercial & technical input including cost-cutting & value engineering solutions 
• Coordinate with Architects, Interior Designers, Structural, Electrical & other trades for seamless MEP integration 
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors & suppliers for approvals & technical clarifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering 
• 7–10 years strong MEP experience (high-rise / commercial / villa projects in UAE preferred) 
• Deep expertise in chilled water, plumbing, drainage, hot water, firefighting & BMS systems 
• Proficiency in preparing/reviewing shop drawings, submittals & RFIs 
• Excellent knowledge of DEWA, Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence & Dubai Green Building Regulations 
• Strong engineering calculation & troubleshooting ability 
• Multi-disciplinary coordination experience 
• Value engineering & cost optimization skills 
• Excellent communication, reporting & leadership abilities
