Overview of the role
The Product Marketing Manager, Swine will lead the swine product category portfolio across Aboitiz Foods, (Gold Coin). The role is accountable for ensuring the commercial success, innovation pipeline, and market positioning of swine products across key Southeast Asian markets. The incumbent will partner closely with Research & Technology Development, Sales, and Marketing teams to align product development and category strategies with customer needs. This role is expected to balance technical product knowledge with strong marketing execution, driving both brand equity and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Category & Product Management
Manage the swine product portfolio, ensuring competitiveness, profitability, and market relevance.
Lead the entire product lifecycle: concept, feasibility, launch, maturity, and retirement.
Identify opportunities for innovation and product differentiation through market insights and technical collaboration.
Market Research & Insights
Gather and analyze market trends, competitor intelligence, and customer insights to guide product and category strategy.
Work with the Market Research Manager to ensure strategies are data-driven and evidence-based.
Go-to-Market & Activation
Collaborate with Sales, Brand, Trade Marketing, and E-commerce teams to design and execute go-to-market plans.
Support field teams and distributors with training, product knowledge, and campaign materials.
Ensure consistent alignment of brand communication and product positioning across channels.
Commercial & Financial Management
Co-own the P&L of the swine category, monitoring profitability, pricing, and ROI of marketing initiatives.
Partner with Finance on budget management, pricing strategy, and forecast accuracy.
Lead packaging development in line with cost, market needs, and regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Act as the swine category ambassador within Aboitiz Foods and externally with key partners.
Ensure strong alignment across internal teams (Sales, Technical Services, R&D, Brand).
Represent the company at industry forums and customer events.
