Job Overview
- Support the development and implementation of Occupational Health and Safety programs, policies, and initiatives.
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, hazard identification, and risk assessments to ensure a safe workplace.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and safety-related complaints, and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and conduct safety training, orientations, and awareness programs for employees, visitors, and other stakeholders.
- Implement fire prevention, emergency preparedness, and safety equipment programs.
- Monitor compliance with company safety standards and applicable government regulations and requirements.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies such as DOLE, BFP, PPA, DENR, and LGUs on safety, permits, licenses, and compliance requirements.
- Monitor and ensure timely closure of safety findings and corrective actions.
- Support the implementation and continual improvement of 5S, ISO, GMP, and other management systems.
- Analyze safety data and prepare reports, recommendations, and safety performance updates for management.
- Work closely with different departments to promote a strong safety culture and ensure consistent implementation of safety practices.
- Support food safety, quality, and Halal requirements within the assigned area.
- Perform other SHE-related duties and projects as assigned.
