PMC: Senior Director, Strategic Partnerships

The Strategic Partnerships Senior Director is a leader within the Strategic Partnerships team, partnering closely with the Head of Industry (HOI) and Dick Clark Productions (DCP) teams to drive revenue growth and ensure flawless execution across the full sales lifecycle.

This role owns the end-to-end RFP process, leads the development of high-impact, insight-driven proposals, and serves as the day-to-day strategic lead on key accounts post-sale. The Senior Account Manager is responsible not only for executional excellence, but also for identifying growth opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and delivering measurable business impact.

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with operational rigor, brings a strong executive presence to client interactions, and thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Sale Leadership

  • Lead the end-to-end RFP process, ensuring strategic alignment, competitive differentiation, and submission excellence
  • Partner with HOI and DCP teams to shape compelling, insight-driven sales narratives and custom proposals
  • Provide strategic guidance to cross-functional brand partners to elevate proposal quality and impact
  • Identify opportunities for upsell, cross-sell, and incremental revenue within the pre-sale process
  • Maintain rigorous oversight of timelines, documentation, and version control

Post-Sale Account Leadership

  • Serve as strategic day-to-day lead for assigned accounts, ensuring programs deliver against client objectives and KPIs
  • Oversee execution of integrated marketing programs with accountability for performance and client satisfaction
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), delivering executive-ready insights, performance analysis, and forward-looking recommendations
  • Translate campaign data into actionable insights and growth opportunities
  • Proactively identify risks, resolve challenges, and escalate when necessary to protect client relationships

Strategic & Business Impact

  • Contribute to account planning, annual strategy development, and revenue forecasting
  • Strengthen and expand client and agency relationships to drive retention and growth
  • Mentor junior team members and help elevate overall team standards and processes
  • Champion operational efficiencies and best practices across pre- and post-sale workflows

Key Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives from pitch through execution
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect program performance to business outcomes
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands
  • Advanced presentation and storytelling capabilities (PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote)
  • Executive-level written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong leadership presence

Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of experience in account management, integrated marketing, media, or sales strategy
  • Proven experience leading RFPs, proposals, and high-level client presentations
  • Deep familiarity with marketing programs, campaign execution, paid social, and performance analytics
  • Experience engaging with senior client stakeholders and agency partners
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) is a plus

Typical wage range: $115k - $130k.
