What you’ll do
Drive innovation in runtime technologies, including container orchestration, serverless platforms, and cloud-native architectures.
Contribute to best practices for runtime engineering, focusing on reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Ensure the availability, performance, and security of runtime platforms through proactive monitoring, incident management, and capacity planning.
Drive the adoption of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation to streamline operations and reduce manual effort.
Partner with application development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure runtime platforms meet the needs of engineering teams and business stakeholders.
Collaborate with security teams to ensure runtime platforms adhere to compliance and security standards.
Build and lead a high-performing runtime engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for runtime platforms, including uptime, latency, and resource utilization.
Implement observability solutions to provide deep visibility into runtime platform health and performance.
Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance the capabilities of runtime platforms.

What’s required
5-8 years of experience in platform engineering, infrastructure, or runtime environments.
Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, distributed runtime platforms in cloud and hybrid environments.
Expertise in container orchestration platforms and runtime environments.
Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and serverless platforms.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools for runtime platforms.
Proven ability to optimize runtime environments for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

The annual base salary range for this role is $175,000-$245,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
