What you’ll do

• Design, build, test, and maintain high-quality user-facing applications with a strong focus on usability, performance, and visual design.
• Own the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, implementation, automated testing, CI/CD, deployment into cloud environments, and production support.
• Develop modern, responsive UIs using best practices in frontend architecture while ensuring seamless integration with backend services.
• Apply core UX principles to create intuitive, aesthetically pleasing, and consistent user experiences that meet business and user needs.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows, leveraging AWS services and infrastructure best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers while operating independently and driving work forward with minimal supervision.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, and contribute to code reviews and technical design discussions.
• Work effectively under tight deadlines, adjusting priorities and scope as requirements evolve.

What’s REQUIRED

• A senior level (8+) of professional experience as a software engineer, with significant experience building user-facing applications.
• Strong, well-rounded software engineering background, including coding, testing, CI/CD, and production deployments.
• Proven ability to work independently as a self-starter, taking ownership of problems end-to-end with minimal supervision.
• Deep understanding of the SDLC and modern software engineering best practices.
• Preference for experience using React with TypeScript, though this is not a strict requirement.
• Solid knowledge of UI engineering fundamentals, including component-based architectures, state management, performance optimization, and accessibility.
• Strong grasp of core UX principles, with the ability to translate user needs into intuitive, visually polished interfaces.
• Experience deploying and operating applications in the cloud
• Experience with CI/CD tools and workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions or similar).
• Familiarity with testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing for UI-heavy applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
