Oak Tree Dental & Implant Centre is expanding, and we’re looking for a motivated, patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our growing team on Fridays and Saturdays.
Due to increased patient demand, continued practice growth, and extended opening hours, this is an excellent opportunity for a hygienist seeking additional days in a well-established, supportive, and modern private practice.

The Role
- Fridays: 14:15 – 17:00
- 1 Saturday morning per month: 09:30 – 12:30
- 4 modern, well-equipped surgeries
- Fully private practice
- Full support from an experienced and friendly team
You must be a GDC-registered Dental Hygienist.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive dental hygiene treatments, including scaling, root planing, and polishing
- Assess patients’ oral health and identify signs of periodontal disease
- Provide preventative treatments such as fluoride applications
- Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices and lifestyle choices
- Take and process dental radiographs in line with current guidelines
- Maintain high standards of infection control and sterilisation
- Work collaboratively with dentists and the wider team to ensure excellent patient care
- Support anxious patients with empathy and clear communication
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using digital systems
- Stay up to date with professional knowledge through ongoing CPD
Essential Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Dental Hygiene
- Current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
- Enhanced DBS clearance
- Proven experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting
- Strong clinical, organisational, and communication skills
- Confident using electronic patient records and practice management systems
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
Desirable
- Experience in periodontal disease management
- Interest in oral health promotion and patient education
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with modern dental technology and digital radiography
