Registered Dental Hygienist

Preferred Search Group is partnering with a top-rated dental practice in Greensboro, NC to find a Dental Hygienist. New and experienced hygienists are welcome to apply! Our ideal candidate will have a professional and positive attitude and a passion for dental hygiene.

Pay for this position is $48-53/hour with an excellent benefit package (listed below).

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday

Duties:

Perform routine dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and root planing.

Conduct oral health assessments to evaluate the condition of teeth and gums.

Take, develop, and interpret dental radiographs (X-rays).

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventative care, and post-treatment instructions.

Apply preventive materials such as fluoride varnish and dental sealants.

Document patient dental histories, treatment plans, and clinical observations accurately in patient records.

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures when needed.

Screen for oral diseases, including signs of gingivitis, periodontal disease, and oral cancer.

Requirements

• Active NCC Dental Hygiene license
• Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene
