The Continuous Improvement Coordinator- Multi Location (CIC-ML) is dedicated to continuous improvement initiatives responsible for multiple locations as a key driver of PTG’s O.N.E. strategy focused on the best Employee Experience, Operational Excellence, and Customer Experience. Working with the assigned General Managers and tams, Identifies and addresses high impact Opportunities for Improvement (OFI), yielding a return to the dealerships, maintaining Elite Support certification and its requirements, a key aspect of our partnership with DTNA and the broader network. Draws from their training and experience to help design and implement improved processes, lead change management efforts, and employ project management methods to achieve dealership and PTG objectives for assigned locations.
 
CIC - ML Responsibilities:
Influence: Develop the ability to drive process improvements by engaging cross-functional teams and gaining buy-in from stakeholders that do not directly report to you.
Time Management: Efficiently balance multiple projects across multiple sites, ensuring high impact projects receive the necessary attention to provide the dealership and PTG an ROI.
Strong Communicator: Deliver progress updates, in various formats (written, oral, presentation), to multiple audiences, including the frontline, CMT members, and Leadership.
Promote Continuous Improvement Culture:
Champion a CI mindset across assigned dealerships using the Elite Support Program as a framework.
Apply The 9 Lean Principles to influence attitudes and operations.
Achieve/Sustain Elite Support Certification, While Maximizing the Results for PTG:
Lead and facilitate regular Change Management Team (CMT) meetings.
Organize and facilitate regular CIE Team Meetings to drive the progression of Continuous Improvement Events.
Drive Collaboration:
Work closely with the Regional CI Manager, and other key business function leads, to align dealership initiatives with PTG’s overall strategy.
Participate in all relevant PTG CIC and Daimler meetings, and CI-related events (i.e., Summits).
Track & Monitor Performance for key Customer Experience drivers (i.e., Parts/Service Throughput, Service Communications, etc.):
Monitoring compliance and trends across all locations
Analyze data for Opportunities for Improvement (OFIs)
Use data to design/train/coach a better way
O.N.E. Initiative/Project Execution, Balancing EX, OX, and CX:
Assist department managers in developing and implementing dealership processes.
Assist in the communication, training and coaching efforts post implementation.
Point of contact for O.N.E. initiative/project updates and support for related Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
 
CIC - ML Requirements:
Skilled in facilitation and CI methodologies
Demonstrated leadership abilities
Effective and comfortable working with Associates across various levels
Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and oral)
Possess exceptional attention to detail
Passion for customer service
Possesses effective time management skills due to multi-location and multi-tasking nature of the role
Is highly organized, goal-oriented, innovative and a self-starter
Strong accountability around performance and measuring results and communicating success
Education and Experience
Associate degree or bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in business or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two plus years of Dealership experience preferred
Process related training or certifications a plus; Six Sigma knowledge preferred or willing to attain.
