We are looking for a young and inspired CAD Engineer with around 2 years solid experience, wishing to take their career to the next level! While we truly appreciate interest from global talent, but for this specific role, we are looking for a local candidate who is already based in the Netherlands and within an easy commute of our De Lier office.

Our water and sensor systems are at the heart of modern, sustainable greenhouse operations — and we’re looking for a talented CAD Engineer to help shape what comes next. 

As a CAD Engineer within the Water & Sensor Systems team, you translate engineering concepts into precise, manufacturable designs. You work closely with mechanical engineers, product developers, and production teams to develop and maintain 3D models, technical drawings, and product documentation for our irrigation, dosing, and sensor product lines. Your work directly contributes to solutions used by growers across Europe and beyond. 

What you’ll do

  • Create and maintain 3D models and 2D production drawings using CAD software (Autodesk Inventor or equivalent) 

  • Develop component and assembly drawings that meet manufacturing and quality standards 

  • Collaborate with R&D, mechanical engineering, and supply chain teams during new product development 

  • Support design changes and modifications throughout the product lifecycle (ECO/ECN process) 

  • Maintain and organize the product data structure in our PDM/PLM environment 

  • Contribute to design reviews and ensure compliance with relevant standards and norms 

  • Work with suppliers and internal production on design-for-manufacturability (DFM) considerations
