About the Role
Indian Ocean Rhum Co. Ltd (IORC) is seeking a visionary and entrepreneurial General Manager who can drive growth with a self-starter mindset. We are looking for someone who thrives in building new opportunities, takes initiative naturally, and brings a bold, hands-on approach to expanding a Mauritian rum brand locally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the company’s strategic vision for growth and innovation.
• Oversee all operational, financial, and commercial aspects of the business.
• Ensure proper standards in production, quality, and sustainability.
• Drive profitability through sound financial management and cost efficiency.
• Lead brand development, marketing, and international market expansion.
• Represent the company in industry forums, partnerships, and community initiatives.

Profile & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field, or any other relevant qualification, an MBA would be an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience, with at least 5 years in a management position within the spirits or FMCG industry.
• Proven success in business growth, financial leadership, and market development.
• Good understanding of production and quality processes.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
