About the Opportunity

Project Y partners with high-growth global companies to identify South Africa's strongest Sales Development Representatives. For this role, we are recruiting on behalf of one of our UK-based SaaS clients, giving you the chance to:

  • Transition or expand your career in B2B tech sales with a strong onboarding & training program

  • Build a career in a global environment, while working from Cape Town or Johannesburg

  • Progress toward senior sales or leadership roles within 24 months

What You’ll Do

You’ll be part of a high-performing international SDR team focused on building pipeline and booking meetings with decision-makers at enterprise-level companies. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Mastering the market - Understand the space and your client’s ideal customer profile (ICP)

  • Prospecting with precision - Identify target accounts and the right contacts to approach

  • Multi-channel outreach - Engage prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn to secure meetings and demos

  • Qualifying opportunities - Ensure leads are a strong fit before handing them to the sales team

  • Collaborating on GTM campaigns - Work with sales and marketing to refine outreach strategies and automate processes with AI

  • Continuous improvement - Develop your sales skills, product knowledge, and market insights every week
