ROR Developer (Full Stack - React)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Drive projects end-to-end — from problem statement to implementation — taking ownership of business impact, technical quality, and operational excellence.

• Break down complex problems and design scalable solutions, create implementation and test plans, and execute them with the team on committed timelines.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to technical initiatives that strengthen scalability, security, and maintainability of our systems.

• Contribute to defining and upholding engineering best practices and coding standards.

• Work on core company products such as Jobspikr, 42Signals, Datastock, delivering high-quality, production-grade code.

• Continuously learn and adopt new technologies and AI tools that improve productivity and product quality.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• 2 - 5 Years of professional, hands-on full-stack development experience with the React/Next.js framework and languages such as Ruby on Rails/ROR.

• Exposure to AI tools and their practical adoption in engineering workflows.

• Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and RESTful API design.

• Strong experience in writing scalable, maintainable, and testable code with an agile mindset.

• High-performance mindset with a focus on quality, ownership, and accountability.

• Excellent communication skills — able to explain technical decisions, share best practices, and contribute to improving overall engineering quality.
