  • Drive channel-specific performance within the state through Distributor selling divisions & priority accounts.  

What you'll do

  • Accountable for the ON Premise channel selling in total states account base.
  • Identify and target key on-premise accounts to build and maintain relationships while gaining influence to execute against the partner's brand strategies
  • Identify and target top Cognac on-premise accounts to build and maintain relationships while gaining influence to execute against the partner’s brand strategies
  • Execute regular account sales calls within key account universe as well as distributor work withs to drive sell-in and sell-through performance through execution of activations in the on-premise channel
  • Drive menu placements and features year-round on all brands within portfolio that cater to local market trends and specific accounts
  • Initiate key programming and activation in top nightlife and lifestyle accounts 
  • Leverage internal brand resources to ensure the brand achieves rightful share of Cognac business within key account universe in the on-premise channel
  • Sell in and ensure execution of programming aligned with the partner's Visual Merchandising Standards
  • Hands-on responsibility for brand education, visual merchandizing standards, program deployment, & distribution growth initiatives at channel / division level 
  • Collaborate with distributor network to ensure focus on the partner's portfolio at accounts through regular communication, training, etc. within account base
  • Leverage portfolio resources to support KPIs at accounts, including programming execution, sampling, POS, etc.
  • Serve as brand education authority on product portfolio in market.  
  • Identify and optimize direct client opportunities (corporate clients, spirit focused social clubs)
  • Assists Sr. Market Manager in market level sales planning process.  
  • Identify, produce, and execute with brand POS that fit within the on-premise channel account universe to best represent the portfolio 
  • Leverage brand programs in local market with flexibility to tweak when needed to best represent the brands within the account universe specifically 
  • Monthly recaps that identify success in market

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Must live in north New Jersey
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience 
  • Experience managing within retail and/or 3-Tier distribution environment
  • Financial & Business Acumen in the areas of data analysis, reporting, marketing knowledge
  • Must be 21 yrs of age or older
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States 
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Must obtain solicitor’s permit (where required by law)

Salary

Salary: $95,000 – $115,000 per year (based on experience, plus performance bonus)
