The Sr. Investment Operations Analyst will be responsible for maintaining COLI fund line-ups, producing performance reports, conducting fund analysis, and supporting the implementation of new fund offerings, including private funds. This role includes responding to broker and client inquiries, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring fund documentation is accurate and up to date. At times, this role will be coordinating large sums of money movement for subscription into MSAs or private funds. The analyst will also generate Excel-based report sets using advanced functions and assist with various fund-related initiatives across the Executive Benefits business.

The Sr. Investment Operations Analyst will be responsible for maintaining COLI fund line-ups, producing performance reports, conducting fund analysis, and supporting the implementation of new fund offerings, including private funds. This role includes responding to broker and client inquiries, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring fund documentation is accurate and up to date. At times, this role will be coordinating large sums of money movement for subscription into MSAs or private funds. The analyst will also generate Excel-based report sets using advanced functions and assist with various fund-related initiatives across the Executive Benefits business.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain product lineups for the COLI products and fund details (expenses, performance, name changes, etc.) in the database for over 400 funds and 2,000 subaccounts on the Andesa administration system
  • Orchestrate fund changes with various internal teams, including SEC filing requests with legal, fund reporting, marketing, COLI admin teams, and various other stakeholders
  • Create metrics and analytics from MS Excel to report on to audit, compliance, legal or external parties
  • Respond to requests for client performance reporting, as well as other requests from internal administration team and external partners.
  • Produce a large array of performance reports and fact sheets for BOLI separate accounts that get sent to brokers and clients
  • Provide fund analysis to produce high quality lineups for the Executive Benefits market
  • Review fund documents to ensure they are up to date on the COLI website
  • Provide input to the COLI Sales Team to drive interest in our products and services including custom research in all fund related requests
  • Responsible for communications for changes on any fund or product lineup related to the Executive Benefits department
  • Direct Implementation and Pricing teams to setup new subaccounts for investment purposes
  • Research fund information and maintain the Executive Benefits products on Morningstar Direct
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Managed Separate Accounts (MSA) and private funds
  • Coordination and tracking of all complex fund transactions with internal and external parties
  • Main point of contact for fund companies on operational items
  • Review prospectus, PPM and fund legal documents for successful fund implementation
  • Make recommendations to enhance processes
  • Assist with other team related items, as needed

Qualifications/Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 5+ years in Finance/Insurance Industry with fund experience preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills such as pivot tables, v-lookups, extracting data
  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail required
  • Proven experience with data analysis and summarization
  • Ability to read, digest, and summarize complex fund legal documents
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication, customer service, and able to work well within a team
