Key Responsibilities
- Manage Daily Operations - Oversee logistics activities for an assigned book of customers, ensuring accurate shipment entry, scheduling, and execution.
- Forecast & Plan Customer Needs - Proactively plan “1 Week Out” to anticipate shipping demands, minimize disruptions, and maintain service efficiency.
- Handle Shipment Execution & Exceptions - Manage updates, reschedules, late reason codes, delivery exceptions, and audit large LTL shipments (≥7 skids or ≥7,000 lbs.).
- Customer Communication & Relationship Management - Serve as the primary point of contact, providing proactive updates, resolving issues, and delivering a high level of service.
- Billing, Audit & Afterhours Coordination - Ensure accurate billing references, resolve discrepancies with Freight Audit, submit afterhours tickets, and close out unbilled reports.
