Who are you?

• You are a strategic, hands-on management consultant with analytical insight and the ability to translate complex issues into practical plans.

• For this sector we only look for expertise in:
  - Business analysis and implementation (pre-SME's).
  - Change management (Boardroom and senior management).
  - Working at a strategic level in various sectors/countries (Africa is a pre).
  - Training and development (Boardroom and senior management).

• You are familiar with artificial intelligence (AI) and digital tools.

• You have good command of English, French and/or Spanish (spoken and written).

• You are a natural advisor and sparring partner, enjoy coaching others and supporting teams in various contexts.

• You are passionate about knowledge development, continuously improving your own expertise, and sharing it with colleagues and clients.

• You are authentic, resilient, modest, and dynamic, and able to address cultural differences with equality and respect.

What the role involves

You will handle one or two projects each year, either on location or remotely via Microsoft Teams. On location, you’ll spend two weeks on-site with the client. PUM covers your flight and visa, and the client takes care of your stay and local transportation. You will also receive an expense allowance. As PUM expert you not only share knowledge, you:

• Empower entrepreneurs, co-piloting their journey toward sustainable and inclusive business development;

• leave a lasting impact on the community: socially, environmentally, and economically;

• turn your knowledge into a hands-on project plan;

• expand your horizons at sector days and building a network that’s as diverse as it gets.

Eligibility and Requirements

The expert role is a voluntary position. You can apply up to and including the calendar year in which you turn 69. PUM engages experts who reside in the Netherlands, are registered in the Municipal Personal Records Database (BRP), and have Dutch basic health insurance. Prescreening (VOG) is part of the selection process. At PUM, we celebrate diversity and inclusion as essential pillars of our organisation.
