THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Program Manager to drive operational excellence for the Operations Program Management Team. You will be at the forefront, orchestrating all operational activities from New Product Introduction (NPI) through End of Life (EOL). Collaborating across functional organizations, you will optimize efficiencies and help define the future of how Pure Storage scales to support global demand.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead the full lifecycle of products and services programs—including NPI, Sustaining, and EOL—by coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize Time to Market (TTM) and minimize Excess and Obsolete (E&O) expenses.
- Drive the planning and execution of program deliverables, scaling engineering innovation into volume and quality production at our contract manufacturers.
- Spearhead process improvement initiatives and internal quality enhancements across Operations to ensure operational efficiencies and scalability.
- Provide comprehensive program visibility to executives and stakeholders via dashboards and metrics, effectively managing strategies, risks, dependencies, and mitigations to ensure program success.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Deep expertise in Program and Project Management, specifically within New Product Introduction (NPI), Sustaining, and End of Life (EOL) disciplines in a high-tech environment.
- Proven ability to lead and manage large-scale, complex, cross-functional global programs with sound organizational and material management skills.
- Exceptional communication and soft skills to influence stakeholders, build trust with cross-functional teams, and convey project strategies without relying on formal authority.
- A track record of taking end-to-end ownership, solving complex problems, and delivering results with tenacity in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment.
- Background in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations disciplines, with familiarity in Lean Six Sigma methodologies being a strong advantage.
We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
