THE ROLE
We are seeking a SKU Lifecycle Project Manager to orchestrate the commercial readiness of all Pure Storage offerings. You will be the essential thread connecting Product Management, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT, ensuring seamless operationalization of new products, updates, and end-of-sales globally. This high-impact role is focused on driving rigorous execution and time-to-market by establishing clear processes and resolving complex cross-functional dependencies. If you thrive on bringing order and accountability to complex product launches, this challenge is for you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
-
Lead and coordinate end-to-end SKU-related workstreams (including configuration, BOM mapping, testing, and deployment) across a diverse matrix of teams like Product Management, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT.
-
Secure time-to-market for product launches by defining clear, aggressive timelines and deliverables for SKU configuration activities, and driving all stakeholders to meet critical milestones.
-
Establish operational excellence by developing, documenting, and maintaining lightweight, repeatable processes for SKU readiness within the Product Lifecycle Management framework.
-
Proactively manage and mitigate risks, dependencies, and blockers related to SKU readiness, utilizing structured project tracking tools, and swiftly escalating critical issues to resolution.
-
Facilitate clarity and alignment by running highly effective cross-functional syncs and checkpoints, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and accountable throughout the launch and decommissioning lifecycle.
WHAT YOU BRING
-
Demonstrated expertise in program or project management, specifically in high-volume environments like supply chain operations, product lifecycle, or commercial systems readiness.
-
Proven ability to influence and drive accountability across numerous functions and senior leaders without direct reporting authority.
-
Extensive experience supporting commercial SKU initiatives (e.g., launch readiness, pricing changes, or decommissioning) spanning hardware, software subscriptions, and service products.
-
Exceptional organizational capabilities and a clear track record of managing multiple concurrent, complex workstreams and aggressive timelines.
-
Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly translate technical or system-level process issues into defined action plans for diverse business and technical audiences.
We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
