THE ROLE
Join the FlashArray engineering team to build the industry’s most innovative, high-performance storage portfolio designed for mission-critical applications. You will drive the evolution of a product where 90% of the innovation is driven by software, ensuring our customers achieve "six nines" of availability without ever experiencing downtime. Collaborating with world-class engineers, you will bridge the gap between hardware-bound performance and cloud-native agility to redefine how the world manages data.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

Architect High-Availability Systems: Design and implement sophisticated algorithms and data structures that ensure 99.9999% reliability and industry-leading performance for enterprise-grade storage.

Drive End-to-End Innovation: Own the full development lifecycle from initial concept and prototyping to shipping production-ready code that directly impacts our global customer base.

Solve Complex Systems Challenges: Analyze and resolve deep-seated technical bottlenecks in distributed systems and kernel-level software to maintain a seamless user experience.

Expand Multi-Cloud Capabilities: Contribute to the integration of FlashArray services with public cloud providers (like AWS), enabling customers to leverage hybrid-cloud mobility for traditional and cloud-native workloads.
WHAT YOU BRING

Systems Programming Expertise: Deep technical proficiency in languages such as C, C++, Python, Go, or Java, with a track record of building robust, scalable software.

Low-Level Systems Knowledge: Practical experience in areas such as distributed systems, operating system internals (Linux Kernel), database internals, hypervisors, or container orchestration.

Collaborative Design Sensibility: A proven ability to translate complex problems into elegant designs while working effectively within a high-energy, peer-inspired engineering team.

Location: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bengaluru, India office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
