Position Overview:
The Senior Director - Commercial & Reporting for Master Development at Qiddiya Investment Company will lead our commercial strategy and financial reporting initiatives across multiple high-impact projects. This role is critical in ensuring the strategic management of resources, risk assessment, and performance tracking to help deliver Qiddiya's ambitious vision of becoming a world-class entertainment and cultural destination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and enhance the commercial function and reporting practices across multiple projects within the Master Development portfolio.
- Develop and implement innovative commercial strategies that align with Qiddiya’s objectives and drive sustainable revenue growth.
- Lead financial planning cycles, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting, presenting key insights and trends to senior management and the board.
- Collaborate closely with project directors and stakeholders to define financial metrics and monitor overall project performance.
- Manage the production of comprehensive reports detailing financial performance, risks, and strategic opportunities for the company.
- Formulate and enforce policies for financial controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Act as a strategic partner to project teams, providing commercial insights that support decision-making processes.
- Lead a high-performing team, promoting a culture of excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including financial institutions and regulatory bodies, to enhance strategic partnerships and funding opportunities.
- Champion initiatives for process improvements, identifying areas for efficiency gains in reporting and commercial operations.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Finance, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field;
- A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in commercial management and financial reporting, preferably in a master development or large project environment.
- In-depth knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, with a strong understanding of the construction or real estate industry.
- Exceptional leadership skills with proven experience in managing diverse teams and driving results.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing at senior levels.
- Experience working in high-stakes environments with a strategic mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in relevant financial software and reporting tools, with a solid understanding of enterprise management systems.
- Previous experience in the Middle East region is highly desirable.
