Construction Director - Concrete Specialist Racecourse (SPA 250)

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a highly skilled Project Construction Director with a background in Specalist/Complex Concrete pouring to lead the concrete-related aspects of our ambitious Racecourse development project. In this critical role, you will leverage your expertise in concrete technology and project management to ensure high-quality construction standards are met while driving the project to successful completion.

Your ability to innovate and address challenges related to concrete design and application will be essential in delivering a world-class facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and quality assurance of all concrete works related to the Racecourse project.
• Develop concrete mix designs, ensuring they meet both project specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate closely with structural engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure the effective integration of concrete solutions into the overall project design.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to monitor concrete work progress and adherence to safety regulations.
• Manage and coordinate the procurement of concrete materials, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project requirements.
• Address any technical challenges that arise during the construction process, proposing innovative solutions as necessary.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on project milestones, concrete quality metrics, and any issues faced to senior management.
• Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in concrete construction, with a strong focus on large-scale highly complex projects.
• Proven expertise in concrete technology, mix design, and construction methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee complex construction projects and deliver on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage project teams effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on innovative solutions.
• Familiarity with project management software and quality assurance processes.
• Experience in the development of racing circuits or similar projects is advantageous.
