Material Handler
Contract Entry LevelJob Overview
Material Handler with experience in regulated industry. Responsibilities include loading, unloading, and moving materials between different manufacturing areas. Verify that each load meets all specifications and procedures. Receive returned materials from manufacturing areas using the GME and DCLink systems.
Duties:
- Responsible for completing the manifest for material dispatch.
- Generate the labels you will use for packaging the various materials, whether QCF-50 labels or POM electronic labels.
- Requisition materials from the warehouse using the DCLink scanner and GME to move them to the production area.
- Comply at all times with company rules, Good Documentation Practices, and EHS regulations.
- Organize the staging area by placing sufficient pallets and boxes for the shift's production.
- Log in and check the GME system daily to perform inventory counts, dispatches, and remove materials from the system.
- Supply the appropriate clothing for the production areas, including hairnets, gloves, shoe covers, and beard covers.
- Clean and sanitize carts before entering the manufacturing clean room.
- Responsible for reporting any defective equipment or damage and hazards in your work area.
- Check the condition of the forklifts daily. Perform minor adjustments and routine preventive maintenance on the forklifts.
- Report and verify health and safety hazards, environmental aspects, incidents, risks, and opportunities within the EHS management system.
- Participate in the development, planning, implementation, performance evaluation, and actions for the continuous improvement of the EHS management system.
