Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable CNC Press Brake Operator to join a metal fabrication team. In this role, you will set up and operate press brake equipment to produce precision-formed metal parts while maintaining high quality standards and following safe manufacturing practices.

The ideal candidate has experience working with fabrication equipment, interpreting engineering drawings, and producing accurate parts in a manufacturing environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate press brake machines for a variety of metal forming applications.
  • Adjust machine settings, tooling, and dies to meet production specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, technical specifications, and work orders.
  • Perform routine measurements and in-process inspections to verify dimensional accuracy.
  • Use precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and tape measures, to inspect completed parts.
  • Identify and report quality concerns or production issues as they arise.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with workplace safety standards.
  • Help ensure production goals and quality expectations are consistently met.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience operating press brake equipment in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and standard production documentation.
  • Basic math skills with experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Dependable work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
