Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled Precision Press Brake Machine Technician to produce high-quality metal components by setting up and operating press brake equipment. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work from engineering documents to manufacture parts that meet production and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, adjust, and operate press brake equipment for a variety of metal forming applications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, engineering specifications, and production work orders.
  • Select the appropriate tooling, dies, and machine settings for each job.
  • Measure, inspect, and verify completed parts throughout the production process to ensure dimensional accuracy.
  • Follow established safety procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Help ensure finished products meet quality and production requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of experience operating press brake machinery in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical drawings, and standard shop documentation.
  • Basic math skills and experience using precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during the workday.
