The IT Compliance Control Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring that the firm’s IT infrastructure—both cloud-based and on-premises—operates in alignment with established IT security controls. This position is responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and tracking the remediation of non-compliant systems, as well as advising development teams on corrective actions. Additionally, the analyst will prepare and deliver compliance and performance reports to senior management, providing visibility into the overall health of the IT environment.

The IT Compliance Control Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring that the firm’s IT infrastructure—both cloud-based and on-premises—operates in alignment with established IT security controls. This position is responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and tracking the remediation of non-compliant systems, as well as advising development teams on corrective actions. Additionally, the analyst will prepare and deliver compliance and performance reports to senior management, providing visibility into the overall health of the IT environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, track, and coordinate remediation of services/systems that do not meet firm-wide IT security standards.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to development and operations teams for bringing systems into compliance.
  • Report on compliance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify gaps, propose solutions, and implement best practices in compliance and security.
  • Support the governance of both cloud (AWS/Azure) and on-premises environments.
  • Maintain documentation of compliance status and remediation activities.
  • Assist in continuous improvement of compliance frameworks and processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of system security processes and frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing environments such as AWS and Azure.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and consistently manage workload to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Working knowledge of Jira, Archer, and AWS Prisma is a plus.
  • Understanding of development best practices is an advantage.
