About the role: 
 

Join a global Quality Assurance team responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions supporting electronic trading platforms and market connectivity services. In this role, you will contribute to the testing of complex trading systems, validating critical workflows across the full trade lifecycle, from order creation and routing to execution and post-trade processing.

You will work closely with development, product, and business teams to verify system functionality, identify defects, and ensure seamless integration between internal and external platforms. The position offers the opportunity to combine technical testing expertise with domain knowledge in electronic trading and financial markets while contributing to both manual and automated testing initiatives.

About the role: 
 

Join a global Quality Assurance team responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions supporting electronic trading platforms and market connectivity services. In this role, you will contribute to the testing of complex trading systems, validating critical workflows across the full trade lifecycle, from order creation and routing to execution and post-trade processing.

You will work closely with development, product, and business teams to verify system functionality, identify defects, and ensure seamless integration between internal and external platforms. The position offers the opportunity to combine technical testing expertise with domain knowledge in electronic trading and financial markets while contributing to both manual and automated testing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute end-to-end (front-to-back) testing across the electronic trading lifecycle.
  • Validate trading workflows from order creation and routing through execution, allocation, and downstream processing.
  • Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into test scenarios and test cases.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
  • Verify complex system integrations and connectivity between trading platforms and external venues.
  • Collaborate with software developers, product teams, and business stakeholders to ensure solution quality.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of test strategies and quality assurance processes.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing solutions to improve coverage, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Support testing activities within a globally distributed team environment.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and software testing.
  • Hands-on experience with end-to-end testing of complex distributed systems.
  • Experience testing financial services, trading, or capital markets applications is advantageous
  • Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, Perl, or similar languages.
  • Experience working in UNIX/Linux environments.
  • Knowledge of source control systems, defect management tools, and CI/CD platforms.
  • Ability to develop maintainable, scalable, and data-driven test automation frameworks.
  • Understanding of electronic trading systems and trading workflows.
  • Knowledge of the FIX Protocol is preferred.
  • Familiarity with trade lifecycle concepts, market connectivity, order routing, and execution processes.
