As a Senior mechanical design engineer, you will be a significant contributor to our mechanical design team and a key player responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of our battery and charger products. With our world-class team, currently >20 team members, you will play a key role in pushing the boundaries of sustainable mobility.

What is your Day-to-Day Mission:

  • Design & Development: Lead the mechanical design for new products and components using CAD software (Catia v5 is mandatory).

  • Analysis & Calculations: Perform engineering analyses and calculations for critical design aspects. These include i.e. critical tolerance stack ups, thermal analysis and ultra-lightweight design.

  • Prototyping & De-Risking: Initiate and support the prototyping and early testing to de- risk the key mechanical concepts and designs

  • Project Participation: Serve as the technical lead on major projects, coordinating activities with cross-functional teams (Electrical, Manufacturing, Supply chain)

  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation, including detailed drawings, BOMs and design review presentations.

  • Supplier Management: Collaborate with external suppliers and manufacturers to optimize designs for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA), ensuring high-quality and cost-effective production.

  • Mentorship: Provide guidance, training, and technical support to less experienced mechanical engineers.

  • Standards & Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and internal quality procedures.
