Strategic Procurement Manager UxV (m/f/d)

As Procurement Manager for Strategic Sourcing, you will take on a key role within our supply chain team and actively shape the supplier strategy for unmanned systems (UxVs). You will play a decisive part in selecting, developing, and building long-term partnerships with our suppliers, while ensuring the availability of critical components for both production and development.

Working closely with Product Management, R&D, and Production Planning, you will help ensure that Quantum Systems continues to set benchmarks in drone technology. Your strategic approach and expertise in procurement will support us in safeguarding the innovative strength and quality of our solutions.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

• Strategic selection, development, and management of suppliers in the areas of hardware, electronics, and system components.

• Responsibility for program and project procurement, as well as coordination of outsourced manufacturing steps.

• Ensuring cost, schedule, and quality targets in procurement.

• Development and implementation of measures for process and supplier optimization.

• Conducting supplier audits, risk analyses, and supplier development activities in accordance with EN9100.

• Independent market analysis, identification of new supply sources, and evaluation of alternative procurement options.

• Management of escalations, complaints, and follow-up of quality measures in close cooperation with other departments.
