Job Overview

As an Intern (m/f/d) in Bid and Project Management, you will support the structured execution and continuous improvement of our tender and project activities, contributing directly to the advancement of cutting-edge unmanned systems. In this role, you will be involved across the full bid and project lifecycle, supporting the preparation of tenders, internal coordination, and the establishment of operational and data-driven foundations for successful project execution.

You will work closely with stakeholders from Sales, Finance, Operations, and Engineering, supporting not only day-to-day bid and project activities but also the standardization, automation, and optimization of processes, tools, and reporting structures. A key aspect of your role will be to help improve transparency, data quality, and workflow efficiency across our bid and project environment.

Through hands-on involvement in process design, tool usage, and reporting, you will gain practical experience in how scalable bid and project organizations operate in a high-tech, growth-oriented environment. Your work will have a direct impact on the quality, efficiency, and scalability of our tenders and projects and will prepare you for future roles in bid management, project coordination, or program management.


What is your Day to Day Mission:

Bid & Project Execution Support​

  • Support the Bid Management Team during active tenders and projects​.

  • Track tasks, milestones, deadlines, and responsibilities​.

  • Support cross-functional coordination to ensure timely and structured execution​.

  • Prepare and support bid and project review meetings.

Tender Identification & Preparation​

  • Support the identification and screening of relevant tenders via platforms, customer portals, and networks​.

  • Assist in structuring tender inputs across administrative, technical, and commercial sections​.

  • Coordinate and consolidate contributions from Sales, Engineering, Finance, and Operations​.

  • Ensure completeness and consistency of tender submissions​.

Requirements & Information Structuring​

  • Extract and structure requirements from tender documents​.

  • Create and maintain compliance tables, requirement overviews, and comparison matrices​.

  • Support the identification of risks, dependencies, open questions, and clarification needs​.

  • Prepare structured inputs for internal alignment and bid decisions​.

Process Optimization, Automation and Reporting​

  • Analyze bid and project workflows to identify inefficiencies and automation potential in the context of a scalable Bid Factory​.

  • Support the standardization and automation of recurring tasks, templates, and status reporting​.

  • Contribute to the development of automated KPI tracking, dashboards, and reporting structures to increase transparency​.

  • Support the automation of requirement handling and bid responses through databases, product data repositories, and content blocks​.

  • Support the development of our JIRA and Confluence space for workflow tracking, requirement management, and automated status updates​.

  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on tender and project activities (pipeline status, workload, deadlines, success rates)​.

  • Support the derivation of insights and improvement recommendations to enable data-driven management decisions.​

Tools, Data & Documentation Management​

  • Maintain structured bid and project data in CRM systems and central databases​.

  • Ensure data consistency, versioning, and traceability across the bid lifecycle​.

  • Maintain and improve templates, documentation standards, and knowledge bases​.

  • Support clean handovers from bid to project execution.
