Job Overview

As a Infield Service Technician, you will be a key member of our NEXUS Team, enabling smooth deployment, operation, and servicing of our advanced droneport systems at customer sites around the world. With our world-class team of engineers and technicians you will play a pivotal role in pushing the boundaries of drone technology and ground-based autonomy. You will work closely with customers, engineers, training and our back-office support team to ensure the successful setup, testing, and operation of droneport infrastructure in the field. This includes operational drone demonstrations, training and test flights. Your hands-on expertise and problem-solving mindset will help ensure system performance, drive improvements, and support Quantum Systems in its mission to become the benchmark for aerial data collection solutions with unmanned aerial systems (sUAV).


Drone Port Quantum-Systems

What is your Day to Day Mission:

  • Commission and support the installation of NEXUS systems at customer locations.​

  • Carry out functional testing, flight demonstrations, and operational training for end users.​

  • Provide in-field technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and communications systems—with support from back-office engineering teams.​

  • Work closely with customers to gather feedback and ensure system reliability and ease of use.​

  • Collaborate with our engineering and product teams to escalate issues, test improvements, and suggest enhancements based on field experience.​

  • Maintain detailed documentation of installations, issues, resolutions, and best practices.​

  • Travel domestically and internationally to customer sites as needed.
