Job Overview

As an Operations I – Technical Documentation & Industrialization Support Engineer, you will become an integral part of our Production Engineering team, supporting the industrialization of our Reliant platform – a next-generation long-range eVTOL unmanned aerial system designed for demanding ISR and logistics missions. As Reliant transitions from development into industrialized production, you will play a key role in ensuring that manufacturing knowledge is captured, standardized, and transferred into scalable production processes.

Working closely with Production Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Development, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain, you will create clear and comprehensive manufacturing documentation while supporting the successful transfer of the product into Industrialization (INC). Your work will enable efficient production, ensure process consistency, and help establish a robust manufacturing environment for one of Quantum-Systems' most advanced UAV platforms.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

  • Create, maintain, and continuously improve manufacturing work instructions, assembly manuals, and production documentation for the Reliant platform.

  • Collaborate closely with Development and Production Engineering teams to translate engineering changes into clear, production-ready documentation.

  • Support the transfer of new products and engineering changes into Industrialization (INC), ensuring manufacturing readiness and documentation completeness.

  • Coordinate documentation updates across multiple departments to ensure consistency throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Participate in the implementation of new production processes and support their introduction on the shop floor.

  • Gather feedback from production teams and continuously improve documentation to increase efficiency, quality, and ease of assembly.

  • Support Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) by updating manufacturing documentation and ensuring controlled implementation.

  • Act as an interface between Development, Production, Quality, and Industrialization teams to ensure smooth communication and knowledge transfer.
